Ojsi is a contemporary jewellery brand creating 18K gold-plated brass jewellery, with selected designs featuring freshwater pearls and semi-precious stones. Founded by Shweta Ashim Mishra, Ojsi brings together modern design, Indian craftsmanship and inspiration from nature and heritage.

I’m Shweta Ashim Mishra, founder of Ojsi — a jewellery designer, engineer by education, and someone who has always been fascinated by the little magic of adornment.

My love for jewellery began long before Ojsi.

When I was a child, my Nanaji would make simple little rings for me from neem twigs. Even today, whenever I pass a neem tree and see a twig, I think of him.

I remember running through the narrow raised paths between the fields in my Nanaji's village, wearing a very long frock, falling, slipping and finally reaching a well surrounded by mogra flowers.

Reaching there felt like a little victory.

The sun would be rising, the fields around me waking up, and I would make tiny bracelets from vines and mogra flowers. Then I would keep smelling them again and again.

And somehow, I felt incredibly special.

That feeling stayed with me.

And somewhere along the way, it became the feeling I wanted Ojsi to create again.

As a child, I hadn't yet learnt that you needed someone else to make you feel beautiful.

I simply knew how to make myself feel special.

Perhaps that's what Ojsi is really about.

Not becoming someone else.
Not waiting for someone else to tell you that you're beautiful.

But finding that little girl within you again — the one who could turn a neem twig into a ring, a vine into a bracelet, and an ordinary morning into something magical.

Ojsi is jewellery for that woman.

The woman you've become, and the little girl you still carry within you.

Ojsi pieces are crafted by Indian artisans using materials carefully selected for quality, comfort and character. Our designs draw inspiration from nature, Indian heritage and the individuality of the women who wear them.

As Ojsi grows, we hope to create a positive impact by supporting the artisans behind our jewellery and contributing towards the wellbeing and education of children in their communities.
